My Story

How I Got Here

I see pregnancy, birth, and the growth of a family as one of the most beautiful things about humanity. As a Doula, I am privileged to help women and their partners make these experiences as positive and healthy as possible. And it’s never surprising to me when another scientific paper proves the positive impact a doula can have on the mother and family. I am honored to serve families in the greater Richmond area.

What I Do

My goal is to help you have the confidence to have the birth *you* want; at home, in a birth center or in a hospital; medicated or not; planned induction or natural start to labor. My services have a price of $900, which provides 3 prenatal visits, on-call availability from 37 weeks until labor begins, continuous labor support, and one postpartum visit. At any time, I am available to answer questions, to send motivations and to listen to any and all concerns your family has.

Prenatal Visits

After beginning our relationship with a meet and greet, as your doula I am committed to your health and the wellbeing of your growing family, available whenever needed throughout your entire pregnancy as well as after giving birth. I will be there to provide you with continuous emotional and physical support, and answer any and all questions you may have. In addition, I'm happy to provide referrals to professionals and services such as pregnancy massage, reiki and babywearing professionals.

Birthing Guidance

Get extra personal support throughout the entirety of your birthing journey. As a Doula, I promise to offer unwavering support to you and your family before, during, and after birth. I will stay in close contact in order to routinely check how you’re doing and offer any support needed.

Postpartum Support

From our initial meeting all the way through your pregnancy and delivery, I take the time to get to know you, your concerns and your needs. I’m always available to contact by phone/email throughout and will provide everything you require to make sure your experience is as calm and positive as possible.

Please keep in mind that, although I offer some postpartum support, I am not a postpartum doula at this time. However, I am more than willing to connect you with several in the area should you be interested in hearing more.
